How can I log my food intake?

To log your food in the Athlete App, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Fuel Plan page.
  2. Click on “+” next to Carb Code of the meal/snack you want to log.
  3. Search for the food you wish to log.
  4. Select the food from the list and amend the quantity and portion size as required before clicking “Add”. Note you can do this from the list view also and use the “+” to add to your food log.
  5. Repeat for all the foods you wish to log for this meal/snack.
  6. Edit the time to reflect when you consumed your meal/snack.
  7. Click “Save” to record your meal/snack log.

Can I add new foods to Hexis?

Yes, you can create your own foods in the Hexis database. This can be a particularly useful to add your most consumed sports foods such as energy gels and sports drinks to your Hexis database.

To add your own food please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to your Fuel Plan page.
  2. Click on “+” next to Carb Code of the meal/snack you want to log.
  3. Click the “Quick Add” icon which is located left of the search bar.
  4. Input the name, portion size and nutrition information of your food.
  5. Click “Add”.

Please note that once a food is added it will also appear under your “My Foods” section of Food Tracking.

How can I edit a food log?

To edit your food log in the Athlete App, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Fuel Plan page.
  2. To the right of the Carb Code, click the Food Tracking button of the meal/snack you want to edit.
  3. Click on “Log”.
  4. Edit, delete or add items as required.
  5. Once you've made your desired changes, click “Save” to update your log.

How can I delete a food log?

To edit your food log in the Athlete App, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Fuel Plan page.
  2. To the right of the Carb Code, click the Food Tracking button of the meal/snack you want to delete.
  3. Click on the “…” and select “Delete Meal Log”.

How can I view the food logs calorie and macronutrient data?

To edit your food log in the Athlete App, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Fuel Plan page.
  2. To the right of the Carb Code, click the Food Tracking button of the meal/snack you want to edit.
  3. Swipe the Kcal and Carbs progress bar from right to left to view the additional nutrition information.

Does Hexis provide insights into my micronutrient intake?

Yes, Hexis provides comprehensive micronutrient tracking. This feature is accessible from the Hexis Hub. To access please follow the below steps:

  1. Login to your Hexis Hub here.
  2. Navigate to your Fuel Plan and select the day you wish to view.
  3. Scroll down to the end of your Food Log and view your comprehensive micronutrient tracking and insights.
