The Role: Performance Solutions Specialist
We're seeking an experienced sports practitioner ready to make a career transition into technology sales and customer success. This unique role combines your deep understanding of sports performance with commercial acumen to drive growth in the nutrition technology market. At Hexis, you'll collaborate with PhDs, sports scientists, and elite athletes to redefine the future of sports nutrition. What You'll Do
Business Development & Expansion
- Target and engage prospective clients across multiple sports in several geographies
- Develop and execute territory-specific go-to-market strategies
- Build relationships with sports organisations, professional teams, colleges, and performance centres
- Represent Hexis at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Product Expertise & Consultative Selling
- Become a subject matter expert on Hexis technology and its applications across different sports
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultative sales conversations
- Translate complex sports science concepts into clear business value propositions
- Collaborate with the product team to communicate market feedback and feature requests
Client Success & Retention
- Support and nurture relationships with existing Hexis clients, ensuring optimal platform utilisation and satisfaction
- Conduct regular check-ins with sports organisations, teams, and individual practitioners using Hexis
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and additional service offerings
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to maximise client ROI
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends in target territories
- Identify emerging opportunities in sports performance technology adoption
- Provide insights to inform product development and marketing strategies
Who We're Looking For
Essential Background
- Sports Practitioner Experience: Minimum 3-5 years working as a nutritionist, exercise physiologist, sports scientist, or similar role
- Elite/Professional Sports Exposure: Experience working with high-performance athletes, professional teams, or elite sporting organisations
- Career Transition Motivation: Genuine interest in moving from hands-on practice into a technology-focused commercial role
- Geographic Focus: Willingness to travel globally as required
Sales & Commercial Acumen
- Natural relationship-builder with strong interpersonal skills
- Previous sales, business development, or client-facing commercial experience (preferred but not essential)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with drive to build and innovate the sales process in Hexis
- Comfortable with consultative selling and longer sales cycles
Technical & Communication Skills
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Comfortable with technology platforms and software solutions
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
What We Offer
Compensation & Benefits
- €120,000 On Target Earnings per annum (€60,000 base + €60,000 commission)
