Why We Changed Our Prices
For those of you who don’t know me my name is David Dunne and I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Hexis. Over the past few months since we launched I have been fortunate enough to have the personal pleasure of speaking to many of you who have joined our Hexis community. Whether it was a brief email or a detailed chain, a voice or video call, or even a thread of messages and voice notes (I do love a voice note), myself and the team truly appreciate the time you gave to share your thoughts and provide your feedback to us - as a young, fast-growing company, this is vital and to ensure we build a product that meets and exceeds your needs.
From our conversations, one thing became very apparent; many of you, like myself, use multiple health and performance related technologies…all of which cost money. Most of us have invested in a wearable device of some sort, with some of us also putting money into coaching platforms and specific training aids. So, why do I raise this? Firstly, I wanted to acknowledge that we are aware that personalised nutrition support to enhance how you perform, adapt and recover is not the only thing that you have to budget for, so we lowered our pricing to continue to deliver on our “why” - to make nutrition for health and performance more accessible than it has ever been and help athletes at all levels realise their full athletic potential.
To be a more affordable and meaningful part of your performance ecosystem. This move to more accessible pricing hopefully now ensures that Hexis, which is helping you fuel smarter, can sit alongside your other performance tech like Strava, Garmin, Wahoo, Whoop, etc.
So, how did we land on the new prices?
Well, we listened directly to you.. You let me and the Hexis team know that you would like 24/7 personalised fuel planning for 365 days of the year for the cost of a coffee (some of you specified flat white, others a double espresso) per week. So that's exactly what we delivered.
To continue to listen and do what is best for our community. We hope this step forward signifies just how much your feedback means to us in the development of our product and our business.
