Key Performance Workouts, Competitions & Recurring Workouts
When you add a workout you may choose to identify if that workout is a Key Performance workout, Competition or Recurring workout. To help you tag your workouts effectively please see the descriptions of each of these below:
- Key performance workouts are the most important training events of your week that you may need additional fuel for. Typically, individuals have 1-2 of these workouts per week. If you identify a workout as a Key Performance hexis may amend your Carb Codes and increase your carbohydrate availability in the lead up to this event. As a result it is important not to overuse this option, but instead save it for those big workout events of the week where you really want to push yourself.
- Competition refers to competitive events. This also includes games, matches and races. If you identify a workout as a Competition hexis may amend your Carb Codes and increase your carbohydrate availability in the lead up to this event.
- Recurring Workouts are workouts that happen at the same time each week.
